Would love to see more dual match-ups like CV vs. Sunnyside, CV took some lumps but i think kids only get better with tough matches, win or lose

Lots of issues but my kid loved it, having never been in a state final he thought it was awesome and that's all that matters to me. Hopefully they work out the kinks for next year.

Not that it matters but, Jordan is a SR. And the match between at 150# between ALA and Mogollon was REALLY good. Those Porter's can wrestle. Rocky Nelson was a great tournament and what a great place to visit with great people!

I could be completely wrong here, but i have heard that part of the reason for the denial was that Valiant wanted to complete against schools in duals and tournaments but did not want to compete in the state tournament. Someone out there might know a lot more and can tell me how wrong i am...

I love the open gyms and the great wrestling that you get at those events and love the coaches and schools putting those on. But, if you want USA wrestling to grow in AZ you have to support those saturday tournaments, $20 is a little pricey (when my boys started it was $5) but mine is a ref and...

I might be wrong here, but Valiant can participate in AIA, but there were stipulations from both sides that could not be overcome. If someone has authentic information please, they have kids there that i have watched wrestle since they were very young, so i would love to see it. I was thrilled...

Just curious, there was a kid that won 113 for SS in 2020, Lee (i think) i don't see him on the roster and he was a FR (i thought). Did they move?

frustrated that my kid's Aunt can't come watch him wrestle at State because of the 2 person limit. Are we pretending that some kids don't have 4 parents and what about grandparents?

These kids will be lucky to get 8 matches prior to sectionals, this will be interesting and could bring us a different look on the team side. Those rural kids usual get tough matches in leading to section and state and are going to have a tough time getting that experience this year. Who is...

Watched that kid since he was little little, great wrestler, looking forward to it!

Kids have to prove year in and year out what they deserve, my kid works hard and he wins some and loses some. He lost twice to Toyota and once Martinez at 113# but he beat Reidhead in his backyard at his tournament. But, he will never see these rankings and he doesn't care one way or the other...

AGREED! That is one special wrestler right there, keeps his head on straight (KIDS are KIDS) and he could place all 4!

Glad to see my boy and some of his friends are staying in shape but staying safe! Frustrating time for wrestlers wanting to get mat time and get better! Quiet on here....
