I may have missed it but what states that section a state tournament wrestle freestyle during the high school season? All the states I know of wrestle folkstyle.

Please list the states who wrestle freestyle for their high school season not the spring freestyle season. I'd like to make contacts and get ideas from them on how this can best be done in AZ.

Again I am all for freestyle! I'd even be OK if all high school and college went to it. But......Even with one I can only think of 4 adult freestyle refs in the state that wouldn't be coaching. Another problem will be coaching. Coaches will have to modify practice. Freestyle and folkstyle...

No doubt the AIA has the money but do the individual school? And again as of right now there are not enough freestyle referees in the state of Arizona.

I love that we have girls wrestling now! Let's keep it going now! Freestyle for the girls would be great. But the officials costs will kill you. 3 officials per mat. And we don't have enough freestyle officials in the state. Most are either wrestling or coaching. I can think of maybe 5...
