The 47th Annual El Cajon Invitational (ECI) is on December 15th-16th, 2017
This is San Diego County’s longest running tournament with a rich tradition. There was no San Diego Section tournament ranked higher than the ECI in 2016 with over 45 CA State Ranked wrestlers as well as many state ranked wrestlers from Arizona and Washington. Please check the "ECI 2016 Top 20 Teams" attachment below.
In an effort to maintain a spectator friendly event, we will be limiting the tournament to 50 teams. Last year we reached capacity & had to turn teams away.

We pride ourselves in running a very efficient tournament that’s extremely competitive and spectator friendly. We traditionally have top teams from all over California as well as Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Nevada. For several years competition has finished on both days by approximately 5:30pm.
This year’s tournament will be held at San Ysidro High School. This site will provide plenty of seating with full bleacher seating on BOTH sides of the gym– San Ysidro High School - 5353 Airway Rd, San Diego, CA 92154
· 64 man Double elimination bracket
· You may bring up to 6 “B” Wrestlers at NO EXTRA COST. “B” Wrestlers will be randomly drawn into the bracket.
· Finals on Two Mats
· LARGE 4.5” Custom Medals for 1st-8th place.
· Champions receive a Custom Clinch Gear Tournament Gear Bag.
· Team Champions receive FREE ENTRY to next year’s tournament!
· Coaches lunch both days
