Puma Duals

What: A duals tournament featuring 24 teams. You are guaranteed 8 dual meets 5 on day one, and 3 on day 2. We will have a re-pooling on Day 2, where we compete for trophies in each pool, and the top teams.

Where: Perry High School, located in Gilbert, AZ. Perry is a nice facility with all amenities needed.

When: Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th. We will weigh-in at 10am Friday, and start wrestling at NOON, 12pm. Saturday we weigh-in at 7am, and start wrestling at 8:30am.

Why: We are seeking to offer a high quality tournament, in the East Valley, at a reasonable price. There is a void of tournaments in the region and area before Christmas.

How:

1- We will charge $350 for each team.

2- We offer a gift, to each coach, of a travel bag. It does not list our team name on there, but says HS Wrestling Coach, with a logo of a grappler.

3- We offer trophies to the top team in the final day pools. We offer title belts to the outstanding wrestlers, of which there will be three. (lower, middle, upper weights) We offer medals for all team members of the first place teams in each pool.

4- We offer a top flight hospitality room, which features homemade chili, pulled pork sandwiches, fruit, snacks, and pizza.

5- Hotels are nearby, and links are listed below. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

6- We offer easy access, as we are one mile off the 202 Santan Freeway, on Queen Creek and Val Vista.

7- Plenty of seating for your fans, and a full concession stand is available. Shirts for sale, featuring each team’s name.

Top teams like Cibola, Chandler, Mountain View (Mesa) and Corona have departed from Flowing Wells within the last 3 years. Peoria is a good tournament but does suck you dry for admission. Peoria is about who you know and if your good enough. (I guess you have to have connections). Queen Creek got turned down the last couple of years because they are not competitve enough, REALLY!
