We will have a Saturday training session at the Arizona Wrestling Officials 2019 State Clinic, Saturday October 19 from 8:00AM to 2:30PM. Location: Campo Verde High School, 3870 S Quartz St., Gilbert AZ 85297 (1/2 mile off Hwy 202 and Val Vista)
Registration 7:15AM-7:55AM
Clinic 8:00AM-2:30PM
Registration fee $25 (cash preferred)
Social event afterwards
Our local association is looking for additional officials to help officiate High School & Jr High matches and tournaments.
We provide all of the training and help out with getting uniforms, etc.
You will be compensated for the matches/tournaments you work. Multi-Dual meets during weeknights are typically $135, plus $10 for travel. Tournament fees will vary but can be $200 for a Saturday tournament.
It's a great opportunity to contribute to the great sport of wrestling.
If you have wrestled and/or have wrestling experience then becoming an official will be an easy transition. Officiating wrestling is also a great part-time job for a college or trade school student.
Registration opens up June 1st each year. We hold our wrestling officials clinic in October of each year.
