    Valiant Prep in Season Tourney

Thanks! Very informative. As a wrestling fan I absolutely love what Valiant is doing. Hopefully we can see them join the AIA and go to tough national tourneys in season.

    Valiant Prep in Season Tourney

That's what I thought.. Only thing I can think of is, only state sanctioned teams can participate in state sanctioned events. Since AIA dies not sanction Valiant, they can't go since they don't represent a state..?

    Valiant Prep in Season Tourney

I just heard from contact in WA St., Valiant was invited to the Gut Check tourney there. This year they have Blair Academy showing up. But tourney organizers were told Valiant not coming because AIA wouldn't permit them? Anyone care to elaborate? Also Clovis North and St. John Bosco were in...

    Best wrestler from every school?

Yah man.. Molina accomplished a lot more at the 'High School' level than Chagolla. Many wrestlers went to Olympic Trials after him. Since there is no record of Chagolla going it it's hard to say what he did. Don't get me wrong, Chagolla was a good wrestler but Molina accomplished more at the...

    Best wrestler from every school?

If I remember correctly, didn't "Cujo" Yazzie place at the Sunkist Kids Int. Open as a SENIOR in high school? I may be wrong but I do remember a 'Yazzie' had accomplished that.

    Best wrestler from every school?

Peoria - Ernie Molina was probably the more accomplished 4X champ there. He was Jr. National All-American in free and Greco. He went on to take 2nd at JUCO's and a Runner -up at NAIA.

    Arizona TRUE State Champion

My 2 cents, I have no dog in this fight. The announcement put out for the "One True State Champion" tournament seems to me what it is implying. This tourney is looking for the best "Arizona" Champion. It is giving State Champs and Placers first priority to seeding. It says so on the flyer. You...

    OSW

Sorta have to agree with @Admin. Visser has been at the helm for a long time now. Instead of progressing he seems to have regressed or worse, stayed stagnant! It would he would liked to have keep up with the trends to help promote Arizona wrestling. He is a very knowledge man when it comes to...

    State Predictions

No comments on how well State panned out? No observations or results of how certain matches turned out? I would comment but was not able to attend..
