New divisions and sections are posted on aia online. Looks like a bunch of 5A schools are bumped up to division 1. Like Sunnyside, Horizon, Millennium, Marana etc.....

When is AIA moving state to Phoenix??

I don't know AIA rules. But would Valiant kids have to sit out half a season if they transfer back to an AIA school?

But whatever. Teams like Chandler and Corona. Losing out on their top kids. Allowing Liberty. And other schools to become the top schools in the AIA. All good.

You need at least 7 matches to be seeded for sectionals. So that 6-0 wrestler is not seedable at the section tournament. Random draw in.

Anyone know when they will be creating the sections for the divisions? Also anyone know if division 1 will be returning to geographic sections like the other divisions or doing whatever method they did last time?

Yes Common Opponents comes before winning %. I think they forgot to put that in the tournament guide for state seeding.
