I am tired of jumping through school district paperwork hoops to try and support our HS and Youth wrestlers and I am looking into creating a non-profit to do fundraisers, pay for travel, uniforms, meals etc. I am looking for someone to give me some tips here on what to do, or not to do.
This will be more than a standard HS booster club, because we want to be able to pay for things for our High School team, our Junior High Teams as well as our youth kids in our USA Wrestling club. Will a 501c3 Non-Profit corporation cover all of that? Has anyone done this before?
