Dislocated Jaw headgear Solutions

I'm looking for a head gear that would protect my wrestlers chin from being pulled on so that his mouth would stay closed and not dislocate at the jaw. Anybody have any ideas? And does anybody know what is legal to wear? Is some of the MMA headgear out their legal to wrestle in high school in? I have a sleep snore chin strap device coming in the mail which theoretically is made of Velcro and soft material which keep the chin closed but I'm not sure its enough protection. This is the second time this has happened in a couple of weeks and if it happens again he is done wrestling. First time happen with a head butt to the chin in practice second time this weekend. Thank you so much. :-[

I dont think I've ever seen an item that would keep the jaw closed. Even football chin straps allow an athlete to speak / spit/ move their jaw. Duct Tape might work ::) (only kidding)

I'm not sure if an mma mask would work. We've used a facemask attachment for headgear in matches where facial injury would prevent the wrestler from competing.

Ive actually used this one: I'm just not sure your son will be able to compete with it on.

Thanks for the ideas. I have looked at some of the MMA gear on Amazon that seems to have a lot softer touch to it while still supporting the chin. I just don't know whether or not they will let him wrestle in it. I looked in the rule books and there is no clear clarification just seems like it's up to the refs. We have considered duct tape lol. Open to any other thoughts for ideas. Thanks again.
