PRESENTS THE
2nd ANNUAL GRAPPLERS BASH
***New Format this Year***
When: Saturday November 4th, 2017
Weigh- ins: 7am-8am Wrestling Starts: 9am
Where: Cibola High School 4100 W20th street Yuma, AZ 85364
Who: Kinder -8th graders, No high schoolers
Age Groups: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th
Price: $15 per entry. Teams that have 30+ entries get with Coach Clayton Wall for discounted price.
Format: Takedown tournament. This will be a great preseason tune up and gut check. Format unlike any other. Lets truly see who is the best on their feet!!!
1. K-2nd will wrestle 3 continuous mins. 3rd grade and above will wrestle 4 continuous mins.
2. Clock only stops for injury or blood time and out of bounds.
3. No out of bounds (except for gym floor and safety stoppage)
4. No pinfalls or additional points for feet to back exposure
5. 4 or 5 man round robin (subject to change based on entry but will be round robin)
6. First man to 3 takedown wins, if tied after time expires we will have a 2 minute sudden death overtime period. If no score after the sudden death overtime period the first man to score will have choice of top or bottom for a 30 second period. If bottom man scores he wins if top man rides out he wins.
Goals: Our Tournament goal is to get everyone 3 to 4 quality matches and get a real scope on your neutral game before the official tournament season starts!!!
Come out to this great event, and get 3 to 4 matches. We will have 4 mats going. Thanks You for your support and let’s make this a great event! Concessions will be available. Help us bring some outside talent to Yuma!
