Junior High Tournaments in Yuma

There are TWO upcoming Junior High Tournaments in Yuma, AZ. See the attached fliers in the comments below for more info. BOTH tournaments cost $6 per wrestler, will follow the MS wrestling weight classes and rules and have been run for a number of years with better attendance each season. Contact the coaches at the respective tournaments for more info.

Yuma HS Junior High Invitational 9/17/16

Yuma HS JUNIOR HIGH INVITATIONAL

Weigh-ins will be from 7:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. and the tournament will start at 9:00 A.M. in the main gymnasium. It is a double elimination tournament with medals being awarded to the top three in each weight class.

Tournament cost is $6.00 per wrestler and is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

RULES & FORMAT:
• Modified National Federation High School Rules (minimum rest between matches and maximum number of matches not in effect).
• Referee decisions final. All protests to be directed to the tournament director.
• Child Abuse, Abusive Language, Disorderly Conduct, etc. Will not be Tolerated.

DIVISIONS:

Elementary (10 and Under): 42, 49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69, 73, 77, 81, 85, 89, 100, 113, 120, HWT

Middle School: 68,77,84,91,98,105,112,119,126,133,140,147,154,161,169,185,225,285

Weight classes in each division may be combined in order to ensure competition for all wrestlers.
