I agree with your point, but that was in a section with 9 schools but only 4 schools in that section had a 113lb. You want the best kids to wrestle at State against each other. But there's no way to control how many kids are in a weight class. But you shouldn't have some section with 9 schools...

Girls can wrestle both girls and boys during the regular season. If a girls wrestles at the girls section tournament (win or lose) she CANNOT wrestle at the boys section tournament. So if a girl wants to try to go to the state tournament for boys she can only wrestle in the boys section tournament.
