a lot of changes coming now with sectionals around the corner...Perez from sunrise is at 108..another Vargas at 108..and it has been confirmed Castillo from ironwood ridge is now Div II at marana mt view 126lbs...wow

How does Castillo transfer from Ironwood Ridge over to Mt. View Marana during season and is allowed to wrestle for sectionals

Rule says with proper transfer of domicile athlete needs to have 10 days of school in order to compete...
Where is the infraction??
I could name a few of kids who have transferred and not have to sit out.
Don't want to drop no names..
What does it matter if in season or out?

I am not complaning or casting stones just wanna know if this could be done, if so then GREAT for him, as long as the AIA is consistent if other wrestlers decide to transfer back to their domicile.

I didn't know that could be done. If it's within the rules ok. I wish him the best. Why do some kids have to sit and others not? Does it have to do with the school or coach signing off on it?

Two notes, especially for the next season. First, rankings mean nothing until step upon the mat and earn them. Young bucks should take note. Second, kudos to Miles Nuessle. I watched him train at LC's Grindhouse and the kid knew how to peak. LC should be commended on what came out of his garage this year.

Some things I realized this year at state. Seeding is bigger than I thought. Yes the cream rises to the top but in some of the tough Semi matches kids beat each other up. Making the finals more interesting. How healthy you are & momentum is huge. That's what makes this sport so great! It's the kids that respond the best during this moment that immortalizes them. It's rough for the seniors that lose in the finals. They remember that forever.
Barker is a stud. Great kid, great family. He has been through a lot and will be successful in life no matter what! Miles Nuessele stepped up at the perfect moment. He set it up for Smith to bring home the team title. It's even bigger because of what it meant. Congrats to Liberty! Congrats to Seton for 2nd & congrats to all those who competed!
