Kind of interesting--this team skipped Flowing Wells, and a couple of scheduled duals with CDO last week, and now Casteel this week... They haven't wrestled since Peoria TOC.

Are they going to Payson? this weekend? Anyone know why they're skipping so much wrestling?

They were at payson did well had a good amount of kids in the championship rounds place in the top 5 teams for team points

Payson is a tournament where there are 2 champions...they took the easy route....Payson really needs to have one champion instead of 2 per wt class---

Payson is a good tournament with alot of wrestling. They have an A and B round robin bracket for each weight class, they take the top 2 wrestlers from each round robin and put them in a four man bracket mini tournament and top 2 meet in a finals match under the lights! If I recall Marana had multiple kids going for 1st. Great tournament

They couldnt go to flowing wells because of covid. Ponce has never been one to take the easy route. Extenuating circumstances this year. And the guy running the Payson tournament wrestled for Ponce at Empire back in the day. Im sure that had something to do with it too
