Veterans Memorial Invitational in Window Rock is BACK!!

The 8th VMI will continue and we are going back to what we do best....Multiple matches for the men's team (ten matches) Women will have a 32-wrestler bracket. The VMI is scheduled for Dec 16-17, 2022. We're spacious, have great food and a bunch of teams you don't normally come across in AZ. Email me at mrhillis145@gmail.com for a flyer. Farmington NM (2022 5a state champs)- WHO CAN DETHRONE THEM? If they get one more title, they will tie Camp Verde with three VMI titles. The last AZ team to claim a VMI title was Sunnyside in 2017. No valley team has done it either. Mt Pointe, Perry and Ironwood made great tries at it but they came in 2nd, 2nd and 4th respectively.
The Women have had great title runs, with Mohave, Montwood TX, and Farmington NM coming in with VMI titles. Miyamura NM came in 2nd to all three BUT are hoping to get it this year, especially since they are the 2022 NM Girls state champs!
