Camp Verde Duals

Date: December 4th and December 5th, 2015


Place: Camp Verde High School, Camp Verde, AZ


Weight – In: Friday, December 4th: 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Saturday, December 5th: 8:00 am – 9:00 am


Coaches Meeting: Friday, December 4th: 10:30 am


Wrestling Session: Friday 11:00 am – 10:00 pm

Saturday(1 lb. Allowance) 9:30 am – 8:00 pm


Entry Fee: $325 (Helps Pay for Trophies, Medals, and Referees)


Hospitality Room: The Hospitality Room will be for coaches, bus drivers, officials, and tournament workers only. It will be well stocked during the 2 day tournament.


Scoring: The tournament will be organized into two pools (16 Teams). The two pools will have 8 teams each. We will seed the top two wrestlers from each pool in a championship bracket. We will seed the third and fourth seeded wrestlers from each pool in a consolation bracket for 5th through 8th places. The seeding will be set by the win/loss records from the seven duals. We will use the total points earned from the duals and a point system for the medal round to determine the top four teams.

Awards: Awards for the top 4 teams. Medals for the top 6 wrestlers in each weight class. Awards to the 1st place finishers and second place finishers. Plaque for the Fastest Pin. Also, plaques will be awarded for the Outstanding Wrestlers:

Concession Stand: The concession stand will be sell available on Friday and Saturday.

Last year in attendance were four top five Team State Champions that competed in this tournament last year. Camp Verde DIV State Champions, Sunnyside DI State Runner-ups, Seton Catholic DIII 3rd place team state placers and fifth place DIV Benson.

There were more than 25 state qualifiers, 25 state placers and there were 11 state champions. If you’re looking for competition to push you up another level then I invite you to come on up and join the fun. We are still looking for two teams.
