Someone has asked if there are any Freshman that could have an impact. I went into track wrestling and have listed all Freshman who are undefeated. What I did find was that not all coaches are updating their kids records. If a wrestler is undefeated but unlisted below, then his win/loss record is not being updated by those assigned to do so. Out of curiosity, I looked up Sophomores thru Seniors as well and have listed them as well for you wrestling fans who love wrestling news.

I went into track wrestling and have listed all wrestlers in Division IV Section 1. What I did find was that not all coaches are updating their kids records. If a wrestler is undefeated but unlisted below, then his win/loss record is not being updated by those assigned to do so.
This has to be done prior to Sectionals for seedings. See attached

It is tough seeding a tournament when so coaches are not putting in results

Some coaches feel that by revealing wrestlers records data it will somehow bring unwanted attention to their wrestlers. They hope to keep their kids winning success a secret and gain some sort of competitive edge at state. Nothing could be farther from the truth. If you’re the best of the best you will come out on top no matter what.

Some coaches just find it too cumbersome to maintain the data.

Your correct, seeding a tournament without this data is difficult.
